GLASSWORKS
GLASSWORKS is a free educational CD and web site, developed to teach children at Key Stage 1 and 2 about the benefits of glass recycling, whilst also encouraging them to develop their numeracy, literacy and technology skills.
The CD is based on animated characters Billy Bottle, Jenny Jar and Bertie Bottle Bank, who involve children in a number of interactive games and activities. The educational resources include: teachers' notes, planning sheets and printable worksheets making glass recycling a simple and effective topic for teachers to introduce to all areas of the National Curriculum in England and Scotland.

MASCOTS
Mascots Billy Bottle and Jenny Jar can also be requested by downloading the Mascots Order Form and sending it to British Glass or e-mailing it to recycling@britglass.co.uk
GLASSFUTURES
GLASSFUTURES is an education resource pack that teaches Key Stage three and four children about the environmental benefits of glass recycling. Each pack contains an animated film on video, which explains the important role that recycling glass bottles and jars plays in helping to preserve the environment for the future, together with teachers' notes - linked to the National Curriculum, including design and technology, science and geography.

NEW RECYCLING VIDEO/DVD
- the entire glass recycling process which can be used for any audience.
In addition all of these resources have been combined into a specially produced Education Resources Pack, designed to offer all recycling officers a complete kit of glass education which also holds containers of materials used in glass manufacturing: silica sand, limestone, cullet and soda ash.
